Happy Veterans’ Day!

Today, we honor the brave veterans and members of the Armed Forces for their sacrifice that protects and serves the United States of America. This year alone, we have seen our troops continue to fight for democracy on foreign soil, support victims of natural disasters home and abroad, and diligently work to maintain our physical and cyber security. Because of their efforts, our families are safe at home, unrestricted by oppression, hunger, or fear. Because of their families’ sacrifices, our children can grow up to achieve anything they dream.

Dr. Mary Ella Carter is grateful for the opportunity to have been able to serve our veterans during her time on the surgical team at the Department of Veterans Affairs and continues to appreciate the service of her patients. Thank you, veterans and your families.
