This Sunday, we celebrate the wonderful women who raised us throughout our early years. Their love and guidance is something that we will be forever grateful for. They never fail to offer their sage advice, and we would like to take the time to thank these mothers for all the hard work they’ve done. Happy Mother’s Day!

The sun is shining, the weather is warming, and the ground is very much muddy. It’s springtime! Here, at Dr. Carter’s office, we’re gearing up for St. Patrick’s day with green all around, and looking forward to the beautiful weather. We are excited for the change that this spring will bring us, with medical assistants leaving for Medical and PA School, and new faces joining the Carter Crew! We hope the changes in your lives this year have been positive, and that the days to come will be bright and cheery. Happy Spring!

As we come back from our romantic nights out and into the beautiful warm weather, we have thoughts of love and flowers as we enter spring. The days are growing longer and we will start to see more pastels around. We hope that the year will be as great as how it started!

We look forward excitedly to our medical mission in March, where Dr. Carter and medical assistants Emily, Rebecca and Laura will be traveling to Dakar, Senegal. We are so blessed to the able to treat the patients there, and to work side by side with their physicians.

As we start taking down our Christmas and Hanukkah decorations, our office is preparing to for 2019. While some are ringing in the New Year in the DC area, others are traveling across the country to enjoy the remainder of the Holiday Season with dear friends and family. Eager to hear about all their holiday adventures, we open the office doors and welcome everyone with Hershey kisses and cheer.

In anticipation of the New Year, we set new goals and resolutions, hoping that 2019 will bring health and joy to all. We are also extremely grateful for everything the past 2018 has brought and feel lucky to have such wonderful patients who never forget to wish us Happy Holidays no matter if they are tens or thousands of miles away. With 2019 on our doorstep, we wish you all a Happy New Year!

All of you who have visited us in the recent weeks have found us sitting among Christmas and Hanukkah decorations, eagerly awaiting the arrival of some of our favorite days of the year. As we look forward to celebrations with our family, we have found a multitude of reasons to celebrate with our friends. Nicolette has moved on to graduate school in North Carolina; Emily is wowing PA schools around the country during her interviews; and Violeta has received her first acceptance to medical school! We are all incredibly proud of these wonderful young ladies as they begin the next chapter in their lives.

We wish all of you a joyful holiday season, time with loving friends and family, and a beautiful New Year.
