Happy Martin Luther King Day!
On Monday, we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Dr. King’s courage, truth, justice, compassion, dignity, humility, and service continue to teach all Americans the power of nonviolence, forgiveness, and love.
Today, these principles could not be more important. Celebrating this vision, we believe that all people have something valuable to contribute to strengthening our community. As providers, we are lucky to hear the stories of triumph and struggle from all of our patients, and are grateful for the window into their remarkable lives.
Whether you are volunteering in your community on Monday or taking the long weekend to recuperate, we wish you a happy Martin Luther King Day!
Happy New Year!
The Holidays might be almost over, but the good mood at Dr. Carter’s office is definitely not! For the Carter Crew, it is time to start off the New Year with some new resolutions, professional goals, and achievements.
As the temperatures keep falling, we hope that our patients are staying warm and enjoying the remainder of the holidays. In the meantime, we will be spending the weekend at home with our pets, hot cocoa, and good movies, while we wait to ring in the New Year on Sunday evening (and secretly wish for snow). We hope you have a Happy New Year!
Happy Holidays!
The Carter Crew loves this time of year! Our office is decorated with Christmas lights and a Hanukkah Menorah, the waiting room smells of evergreen ferns, and Rod Stewart’s Holiday album is on repeat.
However, sharing this time of year with all of our patients is the most special. It has been our pleasure to hear about your holiday journeys and we cannot thank you all enough for your generous gifts. We look forward to sharing the coming weeks with our family and loved ones, and we are wishing you prosperity and health in the coming year!
Welcome Back, Megan!
We are delighted to have Megan back with us over the holidays! Megan is currently in her first year of studies to become a physician assistant at Barry University in Miami, Florida. We could not be more proud of Megan for excelling on all 47 of her exams this semester and for the remarkable enthusiasm she brings to medicine! Way to go Megan!
